Being informed by research and practice from across the world we want to create a global knowledge base that improves patient safety, enhances the wellbeing of healthcare professionals, and reduces the risks for patients and healthcare professionals.

To maximise the global impact of The MPS Foundation we fund research that is focused on the following five areas:
The impact of human factors on patient safety, outcomes, and risk
The impact of processes and delivery models on patient safety, outcomes, and risk
The personal and professional wellbeing of healthcare professionals and teams
The impact of digital integration and technology on patient safety, outcomes, and risk
Evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching and learning innovations
We welcome proposals that are original, innovative, evidence-based, and focused on applied research. We will give priority to proposals that involve and impact more than one country or region.
